About BECIL

Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL), an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, and ISO/IEC 20000:2012 certified Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise of the Government of India, was established on 24th March 1995. BECIL provides project consultancy services and turnkey solutions encompassing the entire gamut of radio and television broadcast engineering, including content production facilities, terrestrial transmission facilities, and satellite and cable broadcasting facilities in India and abroad. It also offers associated services such as building design and construction related to broadcasting, human resource activities like training and providing manpower. Additionally, BECIL undertakes the supply of specialized communication, monitoring, security, and surveillance systems to defense, police, and paramilitary departments. BECIL has its head office in Delhi and a corporate office in Noida, with a regional office located in Bangalore.

About E-Anuvaad

BECIL has developed the e-Anuvaad platform for the Government of India and its institutions to offer localization of all educational content as a service. The platform provides a single-window solution for localizing all types of content, including text, voice, or speech, while also acting as the only incubator for identifying and developing IT-enabled solutions and services for all content types.

Over the last two years, BECIL has identified, developed, and implemented new and emerging technology and process-oriented solutions. The Language CoE is the first of its kind hybrid model that combines the use of technology and human expertise through Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning-enabled technology platforms, with proven expertise in delivering highly accurate content translation. Investments and joint ventures with our partners have enabled us to create an ecosystem of language experts that continuously improve the technology by collaborating with global and Indian firms.

BECIL, in collaboration with its technology partner, has committed investments in infrastructure in a hybrid model for testing and rollout of new age services in local languages. It has diverse applications across the cross-section, contributing significantly to the accessibility and effectiveness of educational content and services for all segments of society.
